AFK Acres
It grows while you are gone. A small farm that does not need you present to be worth having. Plant something, close the tab, live your life, and come back to a harvest that happened without you.
What it is
AFK Acres is a farming game built around the assumption that you have other things to do. Crops grow on real time, animals produce on their own schedule, and the game does the accounting while the tab is shut. Coming back is the reward loop, not a punishment for having left.
Over time the homestead grows: more plots, more animals, better tools, a house worth being inside. Nothing expires, wilts or scolds you for missing a window.
How to play
- Launch it from a Discord voice channel via the rocket icon, or from this page.
- Plant your first plots and buy a couple of animals.
- Fish the pond while you wait — it pays out immediately and funds the next expansion.
- Close it and go do something else. Growth continues.
- Come back, harvest, sell, and put the money into more land.
What makes it different
No punishment mechanics. Crops do not die if you forget them, and there is no daily streak to break. The game is happy to wait.
It lives where your friends already are. It runs inside Discord, so checking the farm is something you do in the same window as the conversation, not a separate app you have to remember to open.

Yes. Crops and animals progress on real time whether or not the game is open, and your earnings are waiting when you come back.

The farm itself is yours alone, but it runs inside a Discord voice channel, so people usually play it alongside a conversation with friends.
Do crops die if I do not log in?
No. Nothing wilts, expires or resets. There are no daily streaks to break and no timers you can miss.
